Perho Culinary, Tourism and Business College’s Pop UP Factory at Teurastamo’s salting house.

Students of Perho Culinary, Tourism and Business College have become a frequent sight at the Teurastamo. The Helmi business campus began operations at the Abattoir salting house in September 2015, bringing entrepreneurship studies to an operating environment where students get to try their hand at pop up entrepreneurship in a real environment. The aim of the campus is to conduct cooperation based on developing the area and supporting local businesses at Teurastamo.

Backround

Perhois a secondary-level vocational institution established in 1957 and operating out of Malmi, Helsinki. The Haaga Institute Foundation and Perho Liiketalousopisto Oy merged on 1 January 2017. The aim of the two parties is to create a strong private vocational institute for approximately 1,500 students, focusing on developing and training employees for the culinary, tourism, wellness and business sectors.
