Precarious Practices: PRACTICES OF LOVE AND BODY 1-3

Practices of Love and Body is a series of events in which the working group shares their artistic work through discussion, experimentation and listening. The events are based on the artistic practices of the members of the group.

The event invites you as a participant to watch and to hear, to be heard if you wish, or to just spend time, drink coffee, think and put aside your everyday pressures.

Performing practices are shared, embodied experiences. As a way of being, they need to be witnessed.

Precarious Practices is a working platform of ten dance artists whose aim is to create a space for practicing and observing unfinished work.

A self-employed artist is in an economically and socially precarious and unstable position. Precarious Practices supports the freelance artist’s ability to do meaningful artistic work and allow artistic practices to materialize despite difficult working conditions.

Working group: Elias Girod, Tiia Kasurinen, Ella Koilainen, Sanni Kriikku, Peter Kärki, Taru Miettinen, Jan Nyberg, Anne Rönkkö, Tuuli Vahtola, Vanessa Virta and Soile Voima.
